The Prodigy does look like the best one out there. It certainly has been a 
frustrating process for us. We did indeed consider the Prodigy, as well as 
the Accu-chek Voicemate, a clunkier one, but would still work.

But Prodigy is not approved for use here yet, and could take years the way 
Canada's bureaucratic wheels turn. The Accu-Chek one isn't even being 
considered here. At any rate, we'd be out of pocket for the strips, where 
insurance would normally pay for that.
