Animas pumps also have this feature. They call it Fill Cannula, but
I do not think it will take the place of the regular prime in Tom's case.

This is pretty much the same thing that the Animas Prime does,
although the Animas pump also has a Load Cartridge setting which
brings the piston up against the cartridge. Then the actual prime
fills is used to fill the tubing, it runs as long as you hold the button down.
