Anna, I wouldn't let "starting pumping" stop you from exercising. There is
really no need to do anything different prior to pumping - just exercise
caution. so-to-speak, just like the experts suggest not exercizing if
ketones are present and BG's over 250.
When I exercise after a meal, I give myself half to 3/4 my bolus depending
on whatever I have for dinner and do just fine for the hour I exercised. I
found that works best for me but everybody is different. Take care and best
wishes with your pump start. I start my new Paradigm in two days! I have
been on the 507C since March 1999! I guess we will be starting together!
