Back when I was on multiple daily injections, I was accustomed to having
high blood sugars (being high-LOL) - my A1C's were as high as 13 at the
time-it took a long time to get used to having lower sugars. Now the 180's
and above feel really terrible -my last A1C was 6.2. I am glad that I am
back to normal but considered still a little high at the 6.2 A1C. I do
remember being on the high range and feeling low at a high number. Since
pumping, I have learned not to correct the 180 two hours after eating
because I know that I will go down eventually. It is learning to be
complacent or trust the pump. I hope you try to get your average down, I
know that it was nice for me after working on it for a while. Take care!
