First you should write to HELP@insulin-pumpers.org but since I am the Admin on duty now I will answer your question back to the List.  You have only one subscription so 
that would indicate that a Router somewhere is doubling up the messages because it is not receiving an acknowledgement from a point that the message is being sent to.

In other words, the Mail Server in California sends the message to a Router and that sends it to another and another that eventually has connections closer to kansas.net   
Somewhere along that line a Router is not getting a response that says "message received", so it resends it.  You now have two messages that will be delivered.  These 
problems will come and go, but if it becomes overwhelmingly persistent, Forward these messages to your ISP and they can possibly track down where the errancy occurs.
