I spent MUCH longer adjusting to MDI because my doc was too busy trying to
find the supposedly most convenient regimen while I was too busy suffering
from highs and lows.

I don't remember exactly, but it took about a year to achieve an MDI regimen
that I could live with.

Whereas on the pump it took me a couple of weeks at most. BUT the qualifier
here is that I had already learned to carb count and had already seen the
pump and asked LOTS of questions about it before I ever got it.
