There are hundreds of posts about this and they can be found in the Archives using the site's Search engine.  Look through All US List mail for "mixing" and "humalog" and 
"regular" or "velosulin".  You should get several hundred 'hits'.

I used to mix Humalog and Velosulin due to my infusion sites reacting to the Humalog  and the site becoming resistant to correction boluses after a day or a little longer.  
With mixing I was able to keep a site at least 2 1/2 days, but since I've switched to Novolog I no longer have any problems like those.
