This happened to me once when I tested on my thumb. The infection lasted 
about a week and I used triple antibiotic oitment. I have never used my 
thumb since then. Too scared I think. I've been diabetic 36 1/2 yrs.

I have been a diabetic for 30 years and this is the first time I have had
this problem.  One of my fingers has an infected site from the glucose
monitoring.  I have put neosporin cream on it.  Are there any suggestions.
