Angela, have you been adjusting his basals? If the
basals aren't set correctly it could explain why his
numbers are going up.You only mentioned that you were
carb counting and that you were doing it correctly.
Carb counting is only one piece of the puzzle.You
should be in close contact with your diabetes team
(sending bgs often) to determine if the basals are set
correctly, by looking for patterns and trends in the
bgs. Sounds like there is some basal tweaking that
needs to be done.
