  Fist of all contact the insurance company in the AM and get this info 
confirmed (if you haven't already)  Then if this is the case, have them set 
it up in payments.  Most insurance companies will allow payments to be made 
(usually no interest!) over a period of atleast two years.  Check this out.  
They should be willing to work with you.  If not, threaten them with 
BANKRUPTCY (SP?) and see what they say.  Afterall, a major medical expense is 
grounds for bankruptcy filing!  And believe you me, no company likes to hear 
that word!!

  But really, they should be willing to help you out.
