I find it tastes just slightly different.  And my brother and his wife 
find that it tastes a lot different.  I'll bet it's the dextrose that's used 
as a filler that they're tasting.  When I use the tablets in my coffee, 
I can't tell the difference from sugar.  Those are made with lactose.
