[IP] hematoma vs infection

I just
wondered, since this is the first time this has happened to me, if there was
any way to know if it is an infection or a hematoma? In other words, what
does an infection look like, and also a hematoma?

Thanks! Marcy
Could be an infected hematoma: can happen but sounds like hematoma. Hematoma
is usually bluegreen or bruise colored. yellow spot means infection of skin,
usually staph infection, golden yellow pus at entry sitre of cannula. Hot
application make em both go away. usually if it is an infection it continues
to drain pus. hard to be certain about this. do not squeeze it. spot
