[IP] DC Pumper Meeting, great speaker!

The next meeting of Capitol Pumpers, a support group and information
resource for insulin pumpers, and those interested in becoming an insulin
pumper, their friends and family, will take place on April 30, 2000 from
2-4:30 PM. As always, the meeting will be held at the Martin Luther King
Library at 901 G St. NW, Washington DC in Room 221, between Gallery Place
and Metro Center.

We are fortunate to have as a speaker a local endocrinologist, Dr.
Stephen Clement, the director for the Georgetown Diabetes Center, who will
speak about new and upcoming technology for diabetics-- that means cool
things like noninvasive meters, continuous meters, oral insulin!!! Ideas
for future speakers and meeting topics are always welcome. The closest
metro stop is Gallery Place on the 9th Street exit. Metro Place at 11th
Street is also nearby.

Information about and for the group can be found at
