Hi!  I'm replying to any ladies having trouble with birth control pills.  I
used to have heavy periods and nausea, so I'd miss work once a month.  My ob
prescribed depo-provera, the birth control injection you take only four
times a year.  Depo provided a possibility that my periods would be less
severe, but it actually stopped my periods altogether.  I've been using depo
for over five years and am stopping now so that I can get pregnant.  For the
past two and a half years, I've had an active sex life and I haven't even
needed to think about birth control because depo is more effective than
pills.  It's a great feeling to not have to worry about birth control--I
hope anyone who is having difficulty with oral contraceptives would consider
