Re: [IP] SODA DEBATE/Capitalistic Health food corps



Good point, how does the Ben and Jerry's philosophy about the support of
small (Vermont) farms, use of organic milk and sugar, and philanthropy fit
into the arguement?  Maybe there is profitablity in the perception that a
company cares about it's product, it's customers and the enviroment.  As as
advertising strategy it's worked for a local Maine Dairy.  And as a customer
I'd certainly rather support a company that uses natural/organic
ingredients.  But really it's more a question about what we choose to put
into our bodies.  Synthetically sweeted soda...ANY soda rarely goes into
mine.  (I'm preaching again!)
