[IP] Save the Dates! Pump-Related Programs

Greetings all:
    Since everyone's life gets hectic, thought it was worthwhile to alert all
of you pump-proponents to some upcoming programs on www.diabetesstation.org
the week of April 16th. I was only able to "attend" one of the past week's 5
programs, but the transcripts are available at <A
HREF="http://www.diabetesstation.org/archive_index.htm">About Diabetes Station
</A> and are worthwhile reading.
    April 17, at 9:00 pm,Dr Alberto Hayek, a renowned researcher will be
discussing Islet research; on the 18th, the Pump Girls will be featured at
9:00 pm, followed by John Walsh, author of Pumping Insulin, at 11:00 pm
(these are EST); on the 19th, Deb Butterfield will discuss pancreas
transplants at 10:00 am (she;s the author of "Showdown with Diabetes") and at
7:00 pm, Alberto Hayek will return to discuss children and pumps; and on the
20th, Bill King will discuss exercise, training and competing with diabetes
at 9:00 pm. Bill is not only a marathoner, but also works for Animas & will
be back at the "station" at 9:00 pm on the 25th to talk about the Animas pump.
     Even if you can't "attend", skimming through the archives is an
expedient way to heighten your awareness of the "state of the art" in
diabetes-related topics.
