Kelly - Keep your feet elevated above the level of your heart. This not only
keeps swelling down but also helps minimize pain. Use a pillow to keep them
propped up on.
Also try to take the pain medicine with something on your stomach - this can
help prevent some nausea from the meds.Keep checking your BG's ! Good Luck !
