Re: [IP] Social progress???

On the subject of where to test...

We all (or at least most of us) have eyelids and necks. If someone doesn't
want to see blood (and I can't stand to see someone get a shot. I amost
passed out when my ex-wife needed an IV during birth of my first son), one
can close their eyes or ook the other way. Anyway, at Pleasure Island, the
local Disney nightclub scene, I did a blood test right there at the bar. If
anyone asks, I tell them, "I'm diabetic. I need to test my blood."
Usually, this starts a conversation, like, "My second cousin's
ex-brother-in-law's best friend's phychologist's live-in nanny had that..."
Then I show them the pump, and give my pager number, if the nanny wants to
talk to me about getting one. Then I ask the girl to dance...

Hmmm. I thought she was so cute, I'd give blood just to talk to her....
