Re: [IP] Losing Weight / Teenage Weight Gain

Tell your mom that when I got married 8 months ago I was a perfect size 10.
My wedding dress was a perfect fit...but a size 14! But I have to applaud
you for your outlook. My mom always gave me those comments too. But she
has always been 20 pounds heavier than me. Sometimes I wonder.

New topic I wanted to bring up. i don't know how many people on this site
were diagnosed before or within their teen years, but did anyone experience
unusual weight gain? i was in a support group back then and all of the kids
were within perfect size and weight for their age before their teens and all
after their teens are now at least 20 pounds over their ideal weight. for
my height my ideal weight would be 137 which would put me 30 pounds over.
Just wondering...
