RE: [IP] I've got everything!



Tara,

My Endo started me at lunch.  The only thing special was he told me not to
take my NPH with breakfast.  I really had problems with going hypo for the
first 24 hours though.  My initial basal was .3 because of the NPH still in
my system.  Also, MiniMed sends my IVPrep with the rest of my supplies.

Tara I don't know if this was stardard or not but the night before I started

took my insulin as usual and fasted the night. The next morning I started
out
fresh on the pump therfore I still had some long acting insulin in my system
but not nearly as much to overlap the basal. Sheila
