[IP] This is not corect. Buffered Regular is the only insulintechnically approved

I believe Lilly submitted the original application to the FDA for approval 
for "general" use.  They did not specifically ask for approval for use in the 
insulin pump.  Approval to use lispro in the pump was not categorically 
denied by the FDA--it's just that not enough research has been done to 
warrant Lilly asking for pump usage  approval.  The only recommended insulin 
for pump therapy on the market is Velosulin.  Over sixty percent of people  
in the US currently on pump therapy are using lispro (Humalog).  It is my 
impression that Humalog is  a  superior insulin to use in the pump and is 
well  tolerated by most people.  Thanks, Fran
