     I cannot help you with this question.  When Kerry went on the pump, the
med TEAM hooked her to an IV of H and then the basil was determined from the
hourly bgs.  She was in the hospital for 3 days.  The first was to determine
her basil with the IV.  The second day was for training and the initial
start of pumping (giving boluses for meals and the gradual fade out of the
IV).  The third day Kerry was completely removed from the IV and was having
her basil and boluses via the pump.
