the ace-inhibitor does not cause bladder infections.  however, some persons
with diabetes do have frequent bladder infections.  typically this is
secondary to  neuropathy causing the bladder to not empty completely.
allowing old urine to sit and "fester".  but bladder infections can be caused
by many things.  if you find you begin to have frequent infections request for
your doctor to refer you to a specialist.  but the one thing you don't want to
do is allow an infection to go untreated.  it can develop into a kidney
infection which is even more concerning.  i hope the antibiotics take care of
things.
