Any type of infection can become VERY serious with diabetes.   I ended up in
intensive care for a week once with a (silly) sinus infection.  TAKE CARE OF
IT.  You may not need an endo for basic care though.  Don't you have an
internist somewhere closer who could help you out -- even family practice or
an old GP should be able to check for a bladder infection and prescribe an
anitbiotic.  If not though, I'll bet that any doc would rather work today
than Sunday with you in the hospital.

Give yourself some time to celebrate Easter or Passover.  Take care of
yourself now.
