<wait at least 15 min>  also includes re-testing BG to see if you are heading
in the right direction with the fast carbs, and to help avoid over treating.
It does take about 15-20 minutes for the brain to recognize that the BG is
getting back to a safe level.  Five Grams of glucose has the potential to
raise the BG about 20 points, so if you treat with 15 grams, then BG should
climb to 60 points higher in about 15-20 minutes.  If your adrenalin surge
also adds to the panic type feelings, you can overeat a lot of carbs in 15
minutes.  You also have the effect of the other counter-regulatory hormones
that get in the mix to break down glucose from the storage areas.  It is best
to "ride out " the high that follows the low, and try to figure out why you
went low in the first place so you can try to prevent it from happening
again....More complex carbs added later should keep you from dropping low
