Challenge Gift
What is a Challenge Gift? It is a donation which must be matched by other contributors before the funds can be accepted by Insulin Pumpers. For example: John & Jane Smith make a challenge gift donation to Insulin Pumpers in the amount of $100.00. Insulin Pumpers must then raise an additional $100.00 from other donors in order to accept Mr. & Mrs. Smith's donation. This provides other members of the forum with a Challenge which must be met for Insulin Pumpers to attain the short term funding goal represented by the Smith's challenge. This will provide the opportunity for others to help meet the Challenge and effectively double your contribution.

Make a Challenge Gift
Insulin Pumpers is a tax exempt publicly supported organization as described under Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code and qualifies for the maximum contribution deduction allowed under United States revenue codes (tax id & additional information).          (IRS rules on Charitable Donations)
Like a regular donation, a challenge gift may be made anonymously or on behalf of another individual or loved one. Unless permission is given to acknowledge your contribution, you will not be listed as a donor on our Thank You page. If you would prefer to make the challenge by mail, send your check and a note saying that your check represents a Challenge Gift to:
